Good afternoon, readers! It’s a new month and that means I have the new Elevation Polish The Highest Elevation…Space Collection to share with you. Launching on February 7th at 9PM (Central) and restocking again on February 22nd at 9AM (Central), this collection was inspired by space and I love it! I can’t wait to do a galaxy mani with these colors. 5 new core shades and a limited edition thermal Yeti polish–let’s take a look!
Elevation Polish Galactic Cannibalism
Navy creme/jelly, holographic flake shimmer, platinum flake shimmer.
I’m showing two coats below with two coats of top coat.
This dries slightly textured due to the flakes and I needed a second coat of my thinner top coat.
Isn’t this an awesome galaxy mani base? So squishy looking.
Elevation Polish Lagoon Nebula
Bright teal/lagoon creme base, shifting shimmer (on tone blue to violet/red), medium density holographic.
I’m showing two easy coats below with top coat.
This was ALMOST a one coater–you may be able to get away with one depending on how generous your coats are. There is a bit of a pink shimmer flash in this and I wish my photos had picked it up.
Elevation Polish Space Raspberries & Rum
Deep raspberry base, holographic flake shimmer, medium holographic, very subtle hint of gold micro shimmer.
I’m showing two squishy coats below with top coat. This almost needed a third coat. This is a favorite of the collection for me because I just LOVE berry shades.
Elevation Polish Camelopardalis
Mushroom taupe creme base, ultra chrome flake shimmer, medium holographic.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
I always love neutrals combined with the colored ultra chrome flakes and the mushroom taupe base is a great combo. The flakes are somewhat covered because it is a creme base but they shine out as you turn your nails toward the light.
Elevation Polish The Dandelion Cluster
Deep dark black/brown base, shifting micro shimmer (gold, bronze, green), shifting shimmer (orange, gold, bronze), medium/low density holographic.
I’m showing two easy coats below with top coat.
While I don’t typically grab for darker shades, I really like this one! I have a fun nail art idea in mind for this one, can’t wait to try it out!
Elevation Polish LE: Ground Control to Major Yeti
Available only during the month of February. Thermal polish with a blend of ultra chrome flake shimmer that is light grey while warm and deep charcoal while cold.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat. There are several photos below to show you the different faces of this polish. I love thermals and this one changes really easily! Visit my instagram to see the video I posted of the color change!
Below: in transition. I had warmed up my fingers in warm water and after I took my warm photos, the tips started cooling off and it’s like an instant gradient! This is what it looks like on me a lot unless I’m freezing.
Below: Index and middle were dipped in warm water, ring and pinky were dipped in cold water.
What are your thoughts on this newest collection by Elevation Polish? Which are your favorites? Mine are Space Raspberries & Rum and Ground Control to Major Yeti but I really can’t wait to use them all for nail art. Don’t forget that the limited edition thermal Yeti polish is only available in the month of February.
The Elevation Polish The Highest Elevation…Space Collection launches on February 7th at 9PM Central and restocks on February 22nd at 9AM Central over at ElevationPolish.com.
