Valentine’s Day Nail Art: Conversation Hearts!

In Bundle Monster, Girly Bits, KBShimmer, KBShimmer, OPI, Stamping by Jacki2 Comments

Good morning, readers! It’s February so it’s completely acceptable to start sharing Valentine’s Day nail art, right? I recently purchased one of the clear stampers (mine was from Girly Bits Cosmetics) and this was my first time using it. I’ve wanted to do a mani like this for years but I could never get the placement of the words right with regular stampers so I gave up. The clear stamper was a HUGE help in that area! It did take me a few tries because it’s a bit disorienting looking through the stamper tube and stamp head to your nail, but I got the hang of it and was able to easily recreate this as a full mani.

  • To begin, each nail was painted with two coats of the cremes I grabbed that were as close to conversation heart colors I could find in my collection: OPI Is Mai Tai Crooked?, KBShimmer Hugs and Wishes, OPI My Dogsled is a Hybrid, OPI Look at My Bow!, and OPI I Just Can’t Cope-acabana.
  • Once they were dry, I grabbed the adorable Bundle Monster BM-425 stamping plate, my Girly Bits Clear Stamper, and KBShimmer Chilly Pepper and stamped on the words as close to the center of each nail that I could get.
  • Once they were dry, I sealed them all in and removed the shine with a coat of Girly Bits Polish Matte’rs.
