Good afternoon, readers! As I’m trying to catch up with my Digit-al Dozen New & Improved Week posts, I’ve decided to double up posts for today. My fourth mani is something I’m surprised I haven’t tried yet, as I’ve been wanting to for a while: tie dye nails! It may be winter, but I was so happy to pull out some of my favorites from the China Glaze Electric Nights Collection for this look. This is all about small lines with a detail brush going in a spiral on the nail. Let’s take a look!Tie Dye Nail Art 1

  • I began with a coat of Funky Fingers Gessa on my nails and let dry.
  • Next, I used my detail brush and China Glaze Violet-Vibes to create a spiral out of short, vertical lines starting at the center of the nail and going outward.
  • Then, I did the same with China Glaze Glow With the Flow right next to the purple spiral, overlapping a bit.
  • I repeated this process, filling in the white on the nail with China Glaze Red-y to Rave, China Glaze Home Sweet House Music, and China Glaze Daisy Know My Name?
  • I used a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to seal everything in.

I’m wishing I hadn’t waited so long to try this out! I love it! I can see myself doing this a lot with different color combos for sure. Have you tried tie dye nails before? Come back tomorrow for my final mani with The Digit-al Dozen.
