Good afternoon, readers! I have a huge post today full of the gorgeous new Elevation Polish: The Adventures of Marco Polo Collection, plus the Elevation Polish half of the new collab with Pahlish: The Venetian Duo. I showed you my easy Dry Brush Gradient nail art yesterday using some of this collection, but we’ll see each polish individually today.

Elevation Polish and Pahlish are both releasing full collections inspired by the Netflix show, Marco Polo, as well as a collaborative duo for this month. Both collections and the duo have special edition Elevation Pahlish labels, however I received my review pack of the full collection before the labels were ready. Your bottles will look like my bottle of The Merchant’s Son at the end of this post. Check out Lulu’s Blogpost for more in-depth inspiration information for each color pertaining to the series. I hope you are ready for the large amount of pictures, grab a snack and let’s take a look!

One note I sadly have to add: I live in Central Florida. And it is Summer. You may think that means hot beach days every day–but in reality it means thunderstorm season. We get rain every day, or close to it. This past week has been particularly gloomy and rainy, and I waited ALL WEEK for sun for these pretties but it never came. Two of these have holo pigment and I didn’t really get to show you their outside beauty with my lightbox. I’ll link you some other posts at the end from my fellow blogging friends that did have sun.

Elevation Polish Empress Chabi
Berry style red with pink and blue micro shimmer.
I’m showing three thin coats below with top coat.
You may get away with two coats, but I was going for thinner application and had a few lighter patches at two.
The shimmer in this is so gorgeous, my photos don’t do it justice at all. You can hold your hand near a light and have both colors of shimmer showing at different angles to the light. Absolutely love this polish!Elevation Polish Empress Chabi 2 Elevation Polish Empress Chabi 1 Elevation Polish Empress Chabi macro

Elevation Polish The Latin of 4 Languages
A red/orange metallic copper.
I’m showing two easy coats below with top coat.
This was nearly a one coater! There are minimal visible brush strokes but the shimmer is glowing from within. Elevation Polish The Latin of 4 Languages 2 Elevation Polish The Latin of 4 Languages 1` Elevation Polish The Latin of 4 Languages macro

Elevation Polish Zhenjin
Burnished gold with medium density holographic pigment.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
This is one that I am sad I had no sun for. You can see a tiny bit of brush strokes but that gold is so crazy that it didn’t bother me.Elevation Polish Zhenjin 2 Elevation Polish Zhenjin 1 Elevation Polish Zhenjin macro

Elevation Polish Khan of Khans
Burnished olive metallic.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
This was another that was nearly a one coater. Again, there are some visible brush strokes but Lulu mentioned in her blog post that it adds character the same way the little knots on raw silk do. Elevation Polish Khan of Khans 2 Elevation Polish Khan of Khans 1 Elevation Polish Khan of Khans macro

Elevation Polish Munkh Khukh Tengri
Denim blue creme with blue and green ultra chrome flakes and blue medium sized shimmer.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
Another that you may get away with as a one coater, depending on how you apply.
The flakes and shimmer are a gorgeous pairing for this blue base, and I can definitely see the resemblance to the sky.Elevation Polish Munkh Khukh Tengri 2 Elevation Polish Munkh Khukh Tengri 1 Elevation Polish Munkh Khukh Tengri macro

Elevation Polish Saif al Jabbar
Blackened base with red to gold shifting shimmer and holographic pigment.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
OH.MY.GOSH. I don’t even typically like dark colors and I love this so much. The shifting shimmer flakes make this polish for me. It’s another that really needed the sun to shine, you can hardly see any of the holo pigment in my photos but it’s definitely there outside. Elevation Polish Saif al Jabbar 2 Elevation Polish Saif al Jabbar 1 Elevation Polish Saif al Jabbar macro

Elevation Polish Le Città invisibili
Purple leaning taupe with ultra chrome flake shimmer in blue/purple/gold/pink.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
This was the first polish I wore when this package arrived and I love it so much. The base color is a gorgeous neutral and it looks awesome paired with these ultra chrome flakes. Elevation Polish Le Città Invisibili 2 Elevation Polish Le Città Invisibili 1 Elevation Polish Le Città Invisibili macro

That’s The Adventures of Marco Polo Collection by Elevation Polish. However, I have one more polish to show you today. Elevation Polish and Pahlish are also releasing The Venetian Duo in both shops for the month of August. I have the Elevation Polish half of the duo, you can see the Pahlish half over at Ida Nails It. They will be sold as a pair only, but they compliment each other beautifully. Elevation Polish The Merchant’s Son is a thermal polish so there are a lot of photos below showing the different color stages. As with all thermal polishes, the shelf life of the thermal pigment is about 6 months. Lulu mentioned in her blogpost that after the 6 months, it should stay around the cold state but not as intense. Also, please take note of the label on this bottle. That is what all of the Marco Polo polishes will have on them from both Elevation and Pahlish.

Elevation Polish The Merchant’s Son
Thermal: turquoise when hot and a dusty teal when cold, with lots of  green micro shimmer.
I’m showing three thin coats below with top coat.
Love love love this color, in both stages. I’m currently wearing it for a full mani and matching pedi.

It’s always fun to watch the thermal change in a polish happen in real time, so check out the fun gif (which I previewed on instagram) to see it below. I also wanted to note, the lighter state of this thermal is best shown in the gif below compared to my photos above. My photo camera is making the turquoise lean more blue than it is in person, but my iPhone video captured it better.
