The Digit-al Dozen DOES Neon, Day 1: Dotticure!

Good evening, readers! It’s time for another Digit-al Dozen nail art week! Are you excited? This month’s theme is Neon so get ready for some bright and fun looks! My first mani is a simple neon dotticure using the Salon Perfect Neon POP! Collection from May 2015. (I’ll have full swatches of the collection up this weekend so check back for those!) I love pairing neons with a neutral base, and white is the best for helping the bright colors pop. I started with a single dot in a random spot on each nail, and then made concentric circles around it outward with different colors and different sized dotting tools.

Rice Whiteout was used as the base of this mani. While one coat is usually good enough for a nail art base, I chose to do a second for complete coverage.
I grabbed my biggest dotting tool and dipped it in a puddle of Salon Perfect Oh Snap! I then dotted a single dot on each nail.
Salon Perfect Purple POP! was the next color. I made a circle around the pink with a small dotting tool.
Next, I dotted medium dots of Salon Perfect Mer-Made of Money around the purple layer.
A tiny dotting tool and Salon Perfect Wrapped Around My Pink-y were used to dot in between the teal dots.
The next dotting layer was an alternating pattern of large Salon Perfect Copacabana Girl and small Salon Perfect Oh Snap!
I continued making circles around the previous layers on the nails that still had white space with the other colors.
KBShimmer Clearly on Top was used to seal everything in.
