Good morning, readers! What better way to wrap up the Digit-al Dozen Neon Week than with swatches of the Salon Perfect Neon POP! Collection? I showed you two manis that I created using this collection already this week: a dotticure and a water spotted look so make sure to check those out if you missed them! I didn’t have to use a white base for these neons, which is a really good sign in my book. They came out a couple of months ago and were part of a promo so you will have to look at your local Walmarts to see if they still carry them for you. Let’s take a look!
These dry quickly and most of them dry to a matte finish. That means the formula can be tricky and dry uneven and bumpy if you do too many swipes per coat. I recommend letting each coat dry before adding the next. I didn’t add top coat for these swatches because I wanted you to see the finish on them, but you could certainly add top coat and it would help with any unevenness.
Salon Perfect Wrapped Around My Pink-y

I am showing four thin coats below without top coat.
There was some visible nail line at 3 coats.
Salon Perfect Oh Snap!
Medium pink neon that dries to a matte finish.
I’m showing three coats below without top coat.
Salon Perfect Copacabana Girl
Coral toned orange matte neon with hidden shimmer.
I’m showing three coats below without top coat.
Salon Perfect Mer-Made of Money
Bright turquoise that dries to a satin finish.
I’m showing three coats below without top coat.
Salon Perfect Purple POP!
Pink toned purple satin finish neon.
I’m showing only two coats below without top coat.
This is my favorite of the collection, mostly because it is one of my favorite polish colors. I also loved that it only needed two coats.
What do you think of these Salon Perfect Neon POP! Collection polishes? I prefer to use them for nail art because that eliminates the uneven finish that comes with applying matte neons. The colors are vibrant and I love them! Check out your stores to see if these are still available for your area.
These Salon Perfect polishes are available exclusively at Walmart stores for $3.98 each.
