Good afternoon, readers! I have a packed post for you today for Day 4 of Traditions Week with The Digit-al Dozen! Another Christmas tradition at our house is decorating our Christmas tree! I know it’s not a very unique tradition but I couldn’t help but include it this week. Our children are 3 and 7 this Christmas and this was the most challenging year for the decorating event. We wanted everyone to be included so my husband and I were giving the larger ornaments to the kids to hang around the bottom half of the tree. After they reached the highest point on the tree their arms could reach, they switched jobs with us and were in charge of handing us ornaments for the top half of the tree. It was chaotic and took a really long time, but once were done, everyone enjoyed sitting and admiring the tree. Who cared if there were multiple red ornaments in the same spot on the tree? We learned to let go of ornament placement anxiety and enjoy the fact that we all were able to participate.
I am lucky enough to be working together with Salon Perfect and hosting a GIVEAWAY for 4 exclusive holiday shades! Paired with Crystal Clear Top Coat and Sugar Cube (white creme), there will be 14 Sets to win! Keep reading past my nail art for swatches and the giveaway form!
- I began with two coats of Salon Perfect Emerald City.
- Next, I took my largest dotting tool and added large dots randomly on the nails with Salon Perfect Sugar Cube.
- Once they were dry, I used the same dotting tool to dot over the white dots with the following: Salon Perfect You Give Me Fever, Salon Perfect Plum Crazy, and Salon Perfect Electric Avenue.
- I used Salon Perfect Silver Plated nail art striper at add the little caps on the top of the ornaments.
- Salon Perfect Crystal Clear top coat was used to seal in the design and add shine.
