40 Great Nail Art Ideas: My Job–Mommy Nail Art

Good evening, readers! It’s been a crazy long day here but I didn’t want to miss out on this week’s 40 Great Nail Art Ideas linkup so here is a late night post! The prompt is “Your Job” and although I am a nail blogger, I don’t consider it my job. My real job is being a stay at home mom to two young children! I am so thankful for my husband’s job that allows me to stay home with our kids and raise them. Moms have a zillion different “hats” they have to wear, from Cook, Maid, Teacher, Nurse, etc, that I thought it would be fun to do a little collection of the things I do with my kids! You will see diapers, bandaids and a heart to mend boo-boos, healthy foods, cleaning supplies, a book, ABCs, 123s, crayons, and even a ball. It’s a 24/7 job and is equally stressful and joyful, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. Let’s take a look!

Mommy Nail Art 1

  • I started with three thin coats of OPI I Cannoli Wear OPI.
  • Next, I used acrylic craft paint to add the Mommy job details.
  • I added small dots using a dotting tool and OPI Gelato On My Mind to the open spaces between the painted jobs.
  • I finished the mani with one coat of Girly Bits Polish Matte’rs.
