Good evening, readers! It’s October!! That means (slightly) cooler weather, Halloween, and the Elevation Polish Charity Sale and Auction! It also means that I have a new collection by Elevation Polish to share with you! This is the Elevation Polish Journey Told Through Music Collection Part 2, 8 gorgeous new colors inspired by songs including a Limited Edition Yeti! Are you excited yet? Head over to the Future Colors page at Elevation for links to the songs that inspired each polish. Let’s take a look!
Elevation Polish Uniformish Pantsuit Sort of Thing
Mushroom Taupe/Nude with a little bit of purple lean to it but not as much purple lean to it as Colline du charf. Light and airy style formula for easy application.
I’m showing two easy coats below with top coat. Depending on how thin you paint your coats on, you may need a third coat.
Surprisingly, this is one of my favorites of the collection!
Elevation Polish The Moon Don’t Move
A standard grey with added softness. It’s got subtle soft green shimmer that in certain lights will shift to blue.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
The shimmer is a subtle addition and I love it.
Elevation Polish Impatience of Imagination Wandered
White based icy blue polish. Is it my imagination or did this color change? You won’t notice it at first glance and you’ll never catch it in transition. Its the most subtle of thermal polishes, it will be ever so slightly bluer. It’s got an arrangement of charcoal flake shimmer and blue/violet ultra chrome flake shimmer.
I’m showing two easy coats below with top coat.
There is slight VNL at 2 coats, but I was happy enough with the coverage because of the flakes that I skipped a third. I’ve worn this twice now since swatching and I thought I was going crazy thinking it was more blue than I remembered compared to application. Now that I read Lulu’s description, I am not nuts. Gorgeous, another unique polish and a favorite of mine.
Elevation Polish Scrape with Screw
Warm cranberry red medium density holographic with buttery style formula.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
Oh my gosh, this polish is amazing and I don’t typically reach for red or holo polishes. The formula is great and I love the tone of this red.
Elevation Polish Dirt up off My Psyche
Red/Brown Marsala Raisin style creme. Light and airy style formula for easy application.
I’m showing three coats below with top coat.
This is the second of the creme polishes and it had very easy application. I added a third coat because there were some lighter patches at two.
Elevation Polish Ratatouille Strychnine
Bright and cheery pink flake shimmer topper. The base is slightly tinted pink from the shimmers. The arrangement of shimmers include, neon pink, hot pink, pink, red, rose, white, bubblegum, orchid and more in a range of different shimmer particle sizes.
I’m showing one coat below over Dirt up off My Psyche below with top coat.
This spread easily and as you can see, it’s dense and won’t need more than one coat as a topper. I can’t wait to try this over more base colors.
Elevation Polish Dancing in This Rain
Indigo (blue with purple undertones) medium opacity polish with various ultra chrome flake shimmer (green, gold, blue, copper).
I’m showing two easy coats below with top coat.
As you can see, the top coat dried down into some of the flake indents and I should have put another coat on before these pictures. The flakes are gorgeous in this base color and I wish they’d shown up better on camera.
Elevation Polish LE: Yeti Has a Bike
Teal green (in some lights very green leaning) holographic with a buttery style application.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
Wow. This is a beautiful holographic teal polish. It applies very easily and looks gorgeous indoors as well as in the sun. This one is limited edition and will only be available during the month of October.
