Good morning, readers! It’s time for another 40 Great Nail Art Ideas post. This week’s theme is Teal and I decided to revisit this dotticure design I did last year (inspired by this mani by Lucy’s Stash), but with a different color combo. Using all teal shades changed the look of this mani but I still am happy with how it turned out. It’s so easy! You only need to use a large and a small dotting tool.
- I started out with three easy coats of Elevation Polish Jengish Chokusu and let dry.
- Next, I put a large dot of each Elevation Polish Ceram Sea and Girly Bits Get Weaponized on opposite sides of each nail.
- Using the small dotting tool, I dotted around each large circle with the opposite color and then filled in the spaces on the edges with more layers of dots.
- I used two coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top to even them out and seal the design.

I like dotticures, but my fav are random ones, because I’m a messy person. =)
I like how the holo dots create a 3D effect around the creme ones. Very pretty.
I like your mani – simply because your dots look so much better! I need more practise time with my dotting tools
