Good morning, readers! Today, I have swatches of the upcoming Elevation Polish Woke Up in China Collection for July! There are 4 new core colors plus the Limited Edition Yeti releasing on July 7th and again on the 22nd. In addition to these new colors, in July there will be a collaborative duo between Elevation Polish and Girly Bits plus Lulu’s Favorite Things Round 2. Onward to the Woke Up in China Collection below!
Elevation Polish Yungang Grottoes
Coral with soft gold micro shimmer.
I’m showing three thin coats below with top coat.
Lulu is trying out a new, thinner formula this month. You may need three thin coats as I’ve done, or you may get away with 2 thicker coats depending on your application preference. The shimmer is so gorgeous and noticeable in this polish. I’ve had it on as a pedi since I first opened this collection package and love it! Definitely perfect for summer.
Elevation Polish Camels in the Snow
White, taupe, and iridescent glitter topper with stars, circles, hexes, and squares.
I’m showing one coat below with top coat over Yungang Grottoes.
This is basically one coat with minimal placement and dabbing. The stars are luck of the draw, I had to dig a bit for the one on my middle finger but then got 2 without trying for my index. I love how neutral this topper is–it will work really well over any base color.
Elevation Polish Kawagebo
Light blue crelly with gold shimmer and micro shimmer.
I’m showing three thin coats below with top coat.
The shimmer is more noticeable in person, but it is on the “hidden shimmer” side.
Elevation Polish Mount Wutai
Soft jade creme.
I’m showing three thin coats below with top coat.
As with the other two colored polishes, this has the thinner formula so a third coat was needed to cover any lighter patches. I love this shade of green and I think it’s pretty unique to my collection.
Elevation Polish LE: Yeti the Store Warrior
Platinum micro flake, platinum flake, and holo in a clear base.
I’m showing one coat over Mount Wutai below with top coat.
Wow, does Lulu make the best subtle toppers or what? I love this combo and wore it as a full mani for a couple of days. The holo is there but not overpowering and the platinum flakes are a gorgeous touch. This is a limited edition polish and will only be available in the month of July. (above: washed out, but you can see a bit of the holo in this sunlight photo if you click to enlarge)
Tell me your thoughts on this new collection for July by Elevation Polish! Which are your favorites? My top two are Yungang Grottoes and Yeti the Store Warrior! Come back tomorrow for swatches of the collaborative duo from Elevation Polish and Girly Bits!
