Good morning, readers! As promised, I have the other new collection from Red Dog Designs to share with you today! This is a pair of polishes inspired by Mardi Gras and they are really fun!

Red Dog Designs King Cake: “circle glitters in shades of purple, green, and yellow, sprinkled with micro holo glitter, in a milky white base. (4 different glitters.)”

I really love the combination of glitters and base color for this polish. And the holo micro glitter adds a nice sparkle! This is three coats with top coat for the photos below. The circle glitters are a bit on the thick side, and the little brush in my sample mini bottle made it hard to get enough base to have even coats. For the third coat, I made sure to brush off any glitters and just get the milky white base so I could fill in any gaps between glitters on the previous layers. With top coat, it was much more even.

Red Dog Designs Harlequin Ball: “various sized circle and diamond glitters, in shades of holo green, holo gold, and purple, sprinkled with micro holo glitter, in a clear base. (10 different glitters)”

I am wearing one coat over a purple creme for the photos below, with top coat. This spread nicely and I love the glitter combination! No issues to report.

What do you think of these two Mardi Gras themed polishes from Red Dog Designs? They are really fun and festive and I think Harlequin Ball will look awesome over tons of different base colors! As with the St. Patty’s Day Collection, these are only available for the month of March so don’t hesitate to buy them if you want to!
These polishes retail for $10 each (full sized bottles) and can be purchased at the shop link below.

Both of them look amazing. But I think my favorite would be the King Cake. Something about the white base making the round glitters look pastel is appealing to me.
