Good morning, readers! Did you enjoy my post yesterday of the OPI Infinite Shine SoftShades? If soft colors aren’t your cup of tea, maybe these OPI Infinite Shine Summer 2015 Collection polishes are more your speed. Let’s take a look at 12 new shades that I think are being added to the core lineup of Infinite Shine polishes! They are a rainbow of creme colors with a couple metallics mixed in and I know they would pair well for nail art. Not familiar with Infinite Shine? It’s a three-step process that is supposed to give you up to 10 days of shine and wear, without the hassle of curing with a lamp and removes like regular lacquer.
Before we begin, I want to link back to my original Infinite Shine Review and Wear Test. Please check those out for more info if you haven’t already. To summarize:
- I didn’t have better wear with Infinite Shines than any other polishes, but that could be my nail chemistry and how hard I am on my nails.
- The top coat pulls color onto the brush so I know it would smear nail art if I tried to use it for that. If you are going to use this system as recommended, try nail art on one nail before all of your nails in case it does drag the art.
- I was sent new primer and top coat bottles so those are what I used for this review. To me, the top coat seemed thinner than my previous experience so they could have reformulated it. However, thinner made for brush strokes visible in the top coat upon drying–which should be easy enough for you to see in the photos below.
- These polishes were easy to apply, no too-thick formulas that I know some of you commented on while trying the first Infinite Shines.
OPI Silver on Ice
Chill out with nails shimmering with cool silver.
I’m showing two coats below with the primer and top coat.
Because of the finish, there are some visible brush strokes.
OPI Patience Pays Off
I canNOT wait to get ahold of this nude pink.
I’m showing three coats below with primer and top coat.
I love this color, but it did need a third coat to even out the patchiness.
OPI You’re Blushing Again
This bashful pink has chic-y style.
I’m showing three coats below with primer and top coat.
OPI Follow Your Bliss
I’m in hot pursuit of this dashing, joyful pink.
I’m showing three coats below with primer and top coat.
OPI The Sun Never Sets
The afterglow of a tangerine sunset.
I’m showing three coats below with primer and top coat.
OPI Bee Mine Forever
I’m devoted to this sweet-as-honey yellow creme.
I’m showing three coats below with primer and top coat.
I still see some patches at three coats, and these photos are showing brighter than in person.
OPI Enter the Golden Era
This pearly gold ushers in the Age of Glam.
I’m showing three coats below with primer and top coat.
There are tiny shimmering sparkles in this that seem to be holo bits and it’s much prettier in person than my photos show.
OPI S-ageless Beauty
You are so wise to chose this light sage.
I’m showing three coats below with primer and top coat.
There are still some light patches at three coats but a pretty color.
OPI Wild Blue Yonder
Soar into this untamed sky blue.
I’m showing two coats below with primer and top coat.
This is the most opaque of the collection and I love it. The best part? I had NO staining upon removal!
OPI To Be Continued…
This periwinkle blue just keeps on shining.
I’m showing three coats below with primer and top coat.
OPI Lavendurable
My love for this sweet lilac will last forever.
I’m showing three coats below with primer and top coat.
OPI Purpletual Emotion
Getting in touch with this expressive eggplant.
I’m showing two coats below with primer and top coat.
Not as opaque and Wild Blue Yonder, you will want generous coats to get away with not adding a third.
What are your thoughts on these summer Infinite Shine shades? As I said above, I haven’t had better wear compared to the regular lacquers but I am loving a lot of these colors and will wear them anyway!
