There’s so much to love about spring. Flirtier frocks. Shorter sleeves. And the wardrobe refresh extends to nails and toes thanks to eight chic new OPI Infinite Shine shades. OPI Infinite Shine No Light Gel-Lacquer is a professional 3-step system offering the high-shine and long-wear of a gel manicure with the ease of application and removal of nail polish. Prepare to shine on (and on) in spring’s most sophisticated hues, with up to 10 days of wear and gel-like shine.

“This collection takes its color cues from the spring runways. Look for baby pinks, heartwarming corals, blooming berry, lush green, shower-cloud gray, and un-bashful nude, all rendered in crème formulas,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder and Creative Director.

Infinite Shine now boasts a choice of 70 colors in total. Infinite Shine features a simple three-step system; first, apply Infinite Shine Primer (Step 1), which goes beyond the capabilities of a standard base coat to prime nails for a revolutionary grip on color, while also preventing staining. Next, select your gel-lacquer shade (Step 2) and paint two thin, even coats for richly-pigmented, vivid color. Finish with Infinite Shine Gloss (Step 3), a state-of-the-art gel polymer top coat that cures in natural light. Product is easily removed with standard nail lacquer remover; no soaking is required

I have all 8 new OPI Infinite Shine shades for Spring 2016 to share with you today! I painted these swatches in combination with the special base and top coats. Let’s take a look:

OPI It’s Pink P.M.
The perfect time for pastel pink is anytime.
I’m showing three coats below with top coat.
Such a pale pink, it would be a great base for spring nail art. Unfortunately, I still had some streaks at 3 coats.OPI Infinite Shine It's Pink P.M.

OPI Rose Against Time
Get set…this bright pink is ready to GO!
I’m showing three coats below with top coat. There were streaks after two coats so a third was added to even it out.OPI Infinite Shine Rose Against Time

OPI In Familiar Terra-tory
I’ve seen this rich coral…in my dreams.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
This was nicely opaque compared to the others and I had no problems with streakiness.OPI Infinite Shine In Familiar Terra-tory

OPI Olive for Green
I pine for this deep evergreen.

There were only slight patches at two so I didn’t add a third.OPI Infinite Shine Olive For Green

OPI Reach For the Sky
This cool, airy blue is yours to achieve.

OPI Don’t Provoke the Plum!
A hot-blooded purple to stir things up.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
This was also nicely opaque and my favorite of the collection!OPI Infinite Shine Don't Provoke the Plum!

As I said above, I used the base and top coat for the system with each swatch shown in this post. The top coat isn’t my favorite, though, and pulls the colors up into bristles. This is especially an issue if you are using it over a lighter color last, as it can streak a previous color onto your mani. A thicker formula would be much easier and wouldn’t leave streaks in the finish as well.

What do you think of these colors? Do you have any favorites? I love that they aren’t all pastels for spring, I can’t wait to wear In Familiar Terra-tory again, as well as Don’t Provoke the Plum!.
