Good morning, readers! On Wednesday, June 1st, the KBShimmer Summer 2016 Collection will launch! Summer for many means time to relax, be it time at the beach, heading to the lake, or back yard adventures. Summer at KBShimmer means time at the beach, with a cool drink in our hands, and good friends by our side, and inspired this collection of tropical colors and scents. I have all 12 new colors to share with you today! Let’s take a look.
KBShimmer Neon Me
Like the summer days of the 80’s, this crelly is jam packed with neon. Small circle glitters in a rainbow of shocking shades pop out against the off white background with a scattering of micro neon glitters.

How fun is this summer crelly? It will look amazing as an accent nail paired with many of these other summer shades from the collection.
KBShimmer Don’t Play Koi
The softer side of summer, this muted white crelly has accents of coral, aqua and grey hex glitters.

KBShimmer How Low Can You Flamingo?
A steaming hot pink, this near neon shade will make you wish it was summer all year long.

HELLO!? This is the best hot pink ever. I don’t even typically like pink, and this is EVERYTHING. The best part is that it dries shiny and not the typical matte neon finish, so I have high hopes for wear time. (Matte finish neons last about one day on me.) I cannot wait to change my pedi color to this for basically the whole summer.
KBShimmer Good Reef!
That perfect summer, accent your tan color, Good Reef! is a stunning light peachy coral color with blue shimmer that pops in certain lights.
I’m showing three coats below with top coat. I am loving this shimmer color combo with this peach base.
KBShimmer Mai Tai One On
A lemonade yellow, this shimmery color has glints of yellow gold and soft green.

I had issues with streakiness/lighter patches with this shade, but the shimmer mostly hid that in person.
KBShimmer Ready For A Good Lime
A soft, lime green cream.

KBShimmer Playing With The Buoys
A soft, green mint with blue undertones.
I’m showing three coats below with top coat.
I cannot get enough of these cremes and this is a great, soft water color.
KBShimmer Suit the Breeze
This periwinkle blue color pops with shimmery pink and violet micro flakes, for a unique summer shade to make your pedicure pop!

Definitely a great pedi color!
KBShimmer Along For the Tide
This inky blue polish is jam packed with shimmery micro flecks that shift from pink to violet and blue to purple. A linear holo finish pops in bright light.

KBShimmer Gull, Get Real!
A light, grey toned purple, this lilac like polish sparkles with micro holo and metallic flakes.

This metallic flake finish polish is cheeky with its near copper, rose gold color and pops of holo.

KBShimmer That’s Nude to Me
This pink toned nude has a subtle linear holo and a soft platinum shimmer for the perfect summer neutral.

This is a really pretty neutral and will pair nicely with the bright cremes from this collection. I love the soft holo finish.

Those are gorgeous! I really need to save some money but, oh my, pastels, some with the added bonus of shimmer! Just show me a pastel and I am weak at the knees. Ugh, KBShimmer, why you do this to me!!!
