Good morning, readers! This week’s 40 Great Nail Art Ideas prompt is Hot Pink. I have created negative space spirals with the new KBShimmer How Low Can You Flamingo?— a gorgeous and new-to-me hot pink creme. Full KBShimmer Summer 2016 Collection swatches are coming soon to Adventures In Acetone, but in the meantime you can peek at this gorgeous neon pink!
Hot Pink Negative Space Spirals 1

  • I began by painting two coats on my nails with KBShimmer How Low Can You Flamingo? and let dry.
  • Once dry, I used a thin nail art brush dipped in acetone to paint on spiral designs. Continuously dipping my brush in acetone and wiping the pink on a paper towel, it removed the polish from the desired spiral and left bare nail in it’s place.
  • Everything was topped with two coats of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to seal in the design and add shine.

What do you think? The camera was totally freaked out by this hot pink so I hope the spirals aren’t lost too much. This and the rest of the KBShimmer Summer 2016 Collection will be available at KBShimmer.com on June 1st. Check back for a full swatch post very soon.
