Good afternoon, readers! I have my picks of the new KBShimmer Birthstone Collection to share with you today! Below is a little about the collection:

KBShimmer announces its Birthstone Collection, a lineup of polishes that are as unique as you! Known for their powerful link to zodiac signs, birthstones have long been celebrated as jewels that evoke certain feelings and traits when worn during its correlating month. “We’re big on personality here at KBShimmer and feel your style– especially your manicure– should represent exactly who you are,” says Christy Rose, founder of KBShimmer. “What better what to show who you are on the inside than with these personalized, gem inspired polishes that sparkle and shine as bright as you?”
Let’s take a look!

A note about all of the polishes in this collection: I highly recommend letting each coat dry before adding the next one to avoid wiping off the previous layer. I was impatient upon my initial application and realized why I was having an issue with patches.
KBShimmer Garnet (January)
A deepened burgundy red polish loaded with metallic flakes and a hint of holographic dust.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat. Lovely!
KBShimmer Garnet 1 KBShimmer Garnet 2 KBShimmer Garnet 3
KBShimmer Amethyst (February)
A rich, red toned purple loaded with metallic flakes and a hint of holographic dust.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
This is a favorite of mine!
KBShimmer Amethyst 1 KBShimmer Amethyst 2 KBShimmer Amethyst 3
KBShimmer Aquamarine (March)
Pale blue polish loaded with metallic flakes and a hint of holographic dust.
I’m showing three coats below with top coat.
There were some lighter spots at two coats, probably due to the lighter base color compared to the others, so a third was needed.

KBShimmer Ruby (July)
A warm, blue toned red loaded with metallic flakes and a hint of holographic dust.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
This is another favorite of mine from the collection! I wore it for my Christmas manicure and had a lot of compliments!
KBShimmer Ruby 1 KBShimmer Ruby 2 KBShimmer Ruby 3
KBShimmer Sapphire (September)
A rich, navy leaning blue loaded with metallic flakes and a hint of holographic dust.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
