Good afternoon, readers! Can you believe how close we are to Christmas already? This month’s Digit-al Dozen nail art theme is Traditions. I’ll be showing you some of my favorite family Christmas traditions that we have at our house. To begin, I’ve recreated the cover of our Elf on the Shelf book! We received our Elf on the Shelf, named Sugarplum, 3 years ago and it’s something the kids look forward to each year.
- I started out with a base of OPI Alpine Snow.
- I used my Pure Color No. 9 Striper Brush to paint all of the details.
- The polishes used in the design are: OPI Coca-Cola Red, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, OPI Cement the Deal, OPI Do You Take Lei Away?, OPI Going My Way or Norway?, OPI Good Grief!, OPI How Great Is Your Dane?, OPI You Are So Outta Lime, OPI Landscape Artist, and KBShimmer Breaking Blues.
- Girly Bits Polish Matte’rs was used to seal them in and remove shine for a matte effect.
Bonus shot with the book cover!
What do you think? Are you an Elf on the Shelf family or no? I can’t wait to show you the rest of our family traditions this week so make sure you check back each day!
