Good afternoon, readers! I missed last week’s 40 Great Nail Art Ideas linkup, but I’m back in the game today and the theme is Black and White. I went for bold freehand daisies and added little gold studs for extra pop. So simple, and yet I really love how these turned out. Isn’t that funny, how the simplest patterns can be the most eye catching?
- I started out with two easy coats of OPI Who Are You Calling Bossy?!?
- I used a detail brush and white acrylic craft paint to do the daisies. They were pretty easy, I started out with a plus sign and added a few more lines criss crossing through the center.
- Then, I added a thick coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top and pressed a few gold metal studs into the centers of the flowers while they were still wet.
What do you think? I don’t think 3D elements are practical for me, but I could see myself wearing this mani if it was gold metallic polish dots for the centers of the flowers. Check out what the rest of the Crumpet’s Nail Tarts did for their Black and White manis below!
