Mariah of Great Lakes Lacquer had this to say about these limited editions for November:
“November signals the coming of the Holidays for many.  It’s a time to remember, a time to give thanks, and time to spend with family.  It also marks my wedding anniversary.  To the man who has stuck by me, supported me, and pushed me to be my best, thank you.  We spent our honeymoon over on the west coast of Michigan, driving along the lake.

As we were traveling up and down the coast, following the lake, we noticed that the cabins and houses on the other side of the road really didn’t have lawns of grass so to speak.  The blowing winds had created sandboxes of the yards across the way.  One owner had stuck a sign in a particularly large pile stating “Freer Sand”.  A humorous jab at a frustrating situation, perhaps?  It will always be a part of our marriage vocabulary.”

Great Lakes Lacquer Thanksgiving Bay
A deep yet muted aqua, like the water when it starts turning color from the cold.  A blue/green shimmer flashes and shifts but hides, not always apparent unless the sunlight hits it directly, just like the lake in colder months.
I’m showing two coats below with top coat.
The formula is on the thicker side but not difficult to work with. I recommend waiting for the first coat to dry before adding a second to avoid any dragging off of the first coat and had no problems at all. I am also happy to report that I had no staining on my nails or cuticles upon removal. I love this color and it is perfect for fall.Great Lakes Lacquer Thanksgiving Bay 1 Great Lakes Lacquer Thanksgiving Bay 2 Great Lakes Lacquer Thanksgiving Bay macro

Great Lakes Lacquer Freer Sand
A gold holo microglitter that has a linear affect as well.

This had a thick formula although I was able to apply it easily. However, Mariah has informed me that she is going to thin the other bottles for purchase to make it even easier on you guys! I love how dense the micro holo glitter is and it gives the effect of a linear holo. You can wear it alone as I’ve shown you below, or use it to add details to another mani. I’ve done that and can’t wait to show you the look I created next week.Great Lakes Lacquer Freer Sand 2 Great Lakes Lacquer Freer Sand 1 Great Lakes Lacquer Freer Sand macro
