The Digit-al Dozen DOES Brands, Day 3: Chick-fil-A!

Hello, readers! Are you enjoying “brands” week with The Digit-al Dozen? For day 3 I was inspired by where I grabbed lunch with the kids: Chick-fil-A! I seriously love their chicken and diet lemonade. Their big advertising theme is usually cows holding signs saying to “Eat MOR CHIKIN”. I think it’s so cute and clever (since they don’t serve burgers)!

  • First, I applied two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.
  • Once they were dry, I used Sinful Colors Black on Black to stamp the “cow print” image from Bundle Monster stamp plate BM-222.
  • Milani Rapid Cherry was the red I used with my thin nail art brush to do the script logo. 
  • After a coat of Seche Vite, I decided that they would look fun with a matte finish so I topped everything with Butter London Matte Finish top coat.

    This is so great! Chick Fil A is a definite weakness of mine…especially the Chicken Egg & Cheese Bagel from the breakfast menu. 🙂

    While I love their chicken sandwiches, I choose not to patronize Chick-Fil-A's establishments because their upper management have repeatedly made public statements I find incredibly offensive. That said, you did a great job of recreating the logo! (:

      I agree. I don't support or promote them. Their chicken is good and their advertising is clever, but I can't allow my money to go to the groups they support.

    I feel so guilty for enjoying Chick-fil-a for the reasons Ell mentioned, but I can't tear myself away, it's so good! Guilt is the best seasoning I guess 🙁

    I've been waiting for the perfect time to do a Chick-fil-a mani. They often do promotions like a free meal if you dress up like a cow. I figured if I did my nails they would at least give me some fries or something. I love that place!

    This looks amazing 🙂 sadly we dont have chick fil a in germany, but when i spent a year in texas i thought the commercials were really cool 🙂 still have a little plush cow 😀
