Hello, readers! It’s Art theme day with the Digit-al Dozen September Spectacular! Have you been enjoying this week so far? I’ve been having a great time revisiting the themes from the first year!
So today’s theme is Art and I’ve done a design loosely based on the many splatter paintings by Jackson Pollock. Instead of recreating one of his paintings with the same color theme, I chose to do my own color theme using a splatter technique. To make it a bit more interesting, I did the whole mani using textured polishes!
The base is Zoya London and I’ve splattered using an old pen barrel with each of these colors:
Zoya Chyna, Zoya Solange, Zoya Stevie, Kiko Sugar Mat 643, and Kiko Sugar Mat 644. Of course, I skipped the top coat to let the texture stick around!

Very cool!
Awesome as always!
This is a brilliant idea! I looks so cool! 🙂
As much as I love splatter manis, this one doesn't work for me. I don't think that sands make good splash.
Love the dimension! Beautiful!
this came out so awesome!
When I tried a splatter texture mani – the polish just had a lot of difficulty splattering! This looks amazing however 🙂
This turned out so cool!! You are doing amazing things with textured polishes!
