Good morning, readers! I have a spring collection from Liquidus Nail Gloss to show you today! Do you remember my previous post featuring a few of her other polishes? You can click HERE to read all about it. Something that I love about this indie brand is the inspiration behind the polishes. I love that they are all inspired by rocks, gems, and minerals! Very unique and a bit refreshing to see less glitter and more polishes.
Let’s start out with the only glitter in this collection: Stichtite. “Inspired by lime greens and purple flecks found in the mineral, Stichtite. This polish is a lime green spring-like jelly with purple and white glitters.” The formula was a bit thick for me so I applied two thick coats. I may add a little thinner for next time to make it a tad easier to apply. You could certainly do one coat over a base color as well. An interesting color combo and definitely a unique polish in my collection. Shown below as 2 coats with top coat.
Next, we come to Silver. I’m so glad that this isn’t just a shiny metallic silver and instead has much more thought and detail that went into making it. “Inspired by the very shiny and gorgeous precious metal, Silver. This polish is packed full of fine shimmer and glitter with a base of rich gray.” This was very opaque and barely needed the two coats I used. Shown with top coat.
You can see the holo sparkles wanting to come out and play a bit in the shaded area. SO pretty!
Now for my favorite of this collection, Moonstone! Oh my goodness. This just glows! One coat was amazing(still sheer and needs more to wear on it’s own) and I think I need to try it over black soon! “Inspired by the iridescent blueish gemstone, Moonstone. This sheer polish is full of light blue and purple hues which changes slightly in the sun and also has a touch of holographic micro glitter.” I am showing three coats for full coverage with top coat. Simply gorgeous!
Hello, little holo glitters!
Amethyst is next. “Inspired by the vibrant purple hues of the mineral, Amethyst. This polish is a soft purple with a tinge of pink and golden shimmer.” Another very pretty one in this collection. I did need three coats for full coverage and am showing with top coat.
Lastly, we have Pearl. “Inspired by the white mineral a mollusk makes within it’s own shell, a pearl. This polish is mostly satin white with a hint of iridescent shimmer.” I like this so much more than the Milani pearl polish I posted on yesterday! I’m showing 3 thin coats with top coat.
