Piper Polish Swatches and Review!

In Nails, Piper Polish Co. by Jacki5 Comments

Good morning, readers! I was recently contacted by the super sweet Erin of Piper Polish Co and she sent some of her pretty polishes for me to try out! I have 4 to show you, all glitters in jelly bases. I’ve only used one coat of each over a base color, they were nicely packed to not have to do multiple coats.

Glitter the Grape, Sparkling Fish Eyes, So Sweet, and Tequila Sunrise.
First up is Glitter the Grape! This is a mix of purple and green glitters, some holo glitters, and even some squares! This applied easily and only needed one coat over Zoya Monica. This is so sparkly in person! I really like it! Shown with top coat.

Next up is Sparkling Fish Eyes! This is in a sheer blue jelly base, but I decided to layer one coat over Sally Hansen Pacific Blue instead of doing multiple coats on it’s own. There are different “ocean colored” hexes in this and some are SO holo! It applied easily and I’m showing with top coat. My only complaint about this one is that it had a much stronger smell. Think Kleancolor. But it wasn’t terrible.

The glitter is so holo in the sun, but in the lightbox you can appreciate the different colors! It looks like some are curling a bit but with one coat of Poshe, I wasn’t able to feel any sticking up.
Tequila Sunrise is next! I love this combo of glitters/colors! Hexes, squares and bars in golds, oranges, pinks, reds. The clear jelly base was thicker than the others but the glitter was nicely suspended in it. This is one coat over Essie Mojito Madness. Unfortunately, the big gold hexes are curling. They were okay with top coat, but this would be an awesome polish even without them. Shown with top coat.

Lastly, we have So Sweet. A mixture of pink and green hexes (some holo) and gold to blue color shifting micro glitter. This screamed watermelon at me so I chose to layer one coat over Essie Watermelon. Another easy one to apply and shown with one coat of top coat.

You can see the color shift in the microglitter.
Well, what do you think of these glitters from Piper Polish Co? Favorites? Least favorites?
