It’s Day 2 of Summer Week with The Digit-al Dozen and I have a brighter mani compared to yesterday’s lightning storm. While there are many frozen treats to enjoy in the heat, I thought shaved ice/snow cones were a classic. Plus, it gave me a really fun use for the OPI Sheer Tints! Layering them over a white textured polish really gave it the right effect.
After using OPI Angel With A Leadfoot and OPI Black Onyx for the foam cup tips, I painted big blobs of the shaved ice using OPI Solitaire. Once it dried to a textured finish, I added each of the OPI Sheer Tints (Don’t Violet Me Down, I’m Never Amberrassed, Be Magentale With Me, and I Can Teal You Like Me) over the “ice” to create the same look as the flavor syrup that is poured over real shaved ice.
