Good morning, readers!  Did you catch yesterday’s post of the new OPI Designer Shades releasing next month? Well, I have another collection coming soon from OPI as well! This year’s Pink of Hearts Duo will be the 8th annual breast cancer awareness duo from OPI. It contains the classic OPI Mod About You pink creme and a new crelly glitter called The Power Of Pink. It also includes a cute mini nail file with a pink ribbon charm. Let’s check it out!

This duo pack is designed to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. In 2014, OPI will donate $25,000 to Susan G. Komen® in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October). OPI will also donate $5,000 to Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada.

OPI is proud to support Susan G. Komen and Rethink Breast Cancer with the eighth annual Pink of Hearts promotion,” explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder & Executive VP. “OPI’s breast cancer awareness campaign embodies our mission to empower women through color. The Power of Pink is a unique new shade that really celebrates the individual. This pink glitter gives nails a fun, playful look that represents the joyful feeling that comes when embracing life.”
Here’s a look at the box set:
OPI Mod About You
A light pink creme.
I’m showing two coats below with no top coat. This was surprisingly opaque for a pale pink, I was happy it didnt need 3+ coats that we are used to.  It was a tad thicker but not hard to work with.

OPI The Power Of Pink
A pale pink confetti glitter hue.
I am showing two coats with top coat below. You can certainly do more than 2 coats if you want it more opaque, but I wanted to show how pale it is alone. No issues to report.

And then, I decided the duo worked well together so I layered one coat of OPI The Power Of Pink over OPI Mod About You. I prefer the glitter layered. No top coat below because I was just trying out the layering combination.

And here is a bonus shot holding the adorable mini file. It has this sparkly pink side, and then a filing side on the back. The charm is a cute addition.
What do you think of this duo? Will you be buying it? Thanks so much for reading!
