DON’T FORGET TO ENTER MY GIVEAWAY!
Good morning, readers! I have a funky manicure to show you today that I wore over the weekend. After seeing this post from Heather at Peace, Love, and Polish during our Summer Week with The Digit-al Dozen, I HAD to try something similar. I hadn’t successfully use the water spotted technique yet and I loved how it looked with a gradient base. You can see this video tutorial by Cutepolish if you want to get the idea of how I did the top layer. I used hair spray instead, and got some awesome sharp shapes on my nails that I prefer to the circles. I kept looking at my nails and getting a Maleficent vibe (which could be because I had just watched the movie that week).

I'm going to have to try this! I love it!
Love this nail art! Your water spotted is perfect! *-*
I too have yet to have any success with this technique, or any type of water marble for that matter lol Maybe I'll give the hairspray a go? I LOVE how your mani turned out, it's absolutely stunning!
This is just fabulous! The gradient with the spots look a little bit like stone.
I like water spotting a lot and find that thicker polish layers rather result in these "islands" as I call these spots rather than holes. I tried it with alcohol desinfectant and perfume (samples or old ones) and found no real difference with this.
wow what a gorgeous look, reminds me of halloween!
Wow, this is just so pretty! I really love the colors! I love browsing Design Seeds too!
I will have to try to remember to try this some time! Looks fabulous!
i love this in every single way. The colours you chose were perfect and it is indeed tres maleficent!
Awesome! I can't wait to try this!
