Hello, readers! If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you may have seen me post a photo of the new Nicole by OPI nail lacquers for 2014! They arrived on Friday and this weekend I wore a fun stripe manicure using 4 of the new colors! I’m going to try and get a full swatch post of the 15 new colors for you by this weekend. In the meantime, here is a sneak peek at 4!
My base is called That’s Putting It Mild. Once that was dry with a quick drying top coat, I applied some striping tape vertically on my nails. Then, I used a nail art brush to fill in the gaps between the tape with Teal Me Something New, I Shop Mintage, and Oh That’s Just Grape! I peeled back off the striping tape to reveal the base color. Lastly, HK Girl was used as the top coat to seal it all in!
What do you think? I can’t wait to try out all of the new Nicole by OPI colors for 2014! There were so many that I am excited to use in nail art as well as wear on their own! Thanks so much for reading!
