Deborah Lippmann Mermaid’s Dream!

In Deborah Lippmann, Nails by Jacki18 Comments

Hello readers! I got this amazingly gorgeous polish in the mail last week and can’t believe I waited this long to make time to put it on! It’s absolutely stunning in person, and if I were making a “Favorites of 2012” list, this would be on it! It seems to glow from within and I really just can’t stop staring at my nails!

Unfortunately, during full noon sun, it seems this was shined out a bit and looks better in person than in my pictures. Also it seems the sun went through my top coat layers to focus on the texture of the polish UNDER the top coats to make it look bumpy! I did a coat of Gelous and 2 coats of Cult Nails Wicked Fast so it is almost completely smooth to the touch. I can now understand why every swatch of this color I saw on blogs looked like there was no top coat before I bought it.

This is 3 coats, with 1 coat of Gelous and 2 coats of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.
It’s a gorgeous seafoam green with little blue glitters with micro gold glitters as well. I’m not usually a fan of such light colors but I am seriously in awe of this one. Well done, Deborah Lippmann! I think this is my favorite DL that I own as well!
What do you think? Are you a fan? Do you have this polish or is it on your wishlist? Please don’t forget to check out my blogsale tab! I still have about half of the polishes available for purchase!! Thanks for reading!

This is gorgeous! I don't own any Lippmann's yet and I have to admit, I'm hoping that a less-expensive dupe will surface of this one day =) Either way, gorgeous swatches of a gorgeous polish!

Razzle Dazzle did the same thing with my topcoats as your experience with Mermaid's Dream. I can't stand the bumpiness! Maybe I'll just pretend they're fish scales 😉
