Girls Just Want To Have Fun with a little Boom Boom Pow!

Hello readers!! I have more Deborah Lippmann polishes to show you today! I always told myself that I wasn’t the girl that needed to spend $16+ on a single polish but here I find myself up to 5 of these pricey polishes with at least 2 more on my wish list. Oops 😉

I recently ordered a few from Apothica and they arrived yesterday! I was so excited, it only took like 3-4 days to get to me by USPS and that was including the weekend! I am showing you 2 of them today: Girls Just Want To Have Fun and Boom Boom Pow.

Girls Just Want To Have Fun is a squishy creme that is coral, but leans more to the orange side rather than pink side of the coral spectrum. I think it will be good for the upcoming spring and summer months. I had to do 3 coats because the application was tricky with the squishiness of it.

Boom Boom Pow is a gold glitter that has 2 different sized hexagon glitters as well as 24 carat gold dust for some added shimmer. I honestly didn’t even know it had 24 carat gold in it when I ordered. It’s really pretty and I can’t wait to try it over other colors as well! This is 2 coats just because I was wanting more big hexes. It was great in 1 coat as well.

No sun today 🙁

You can see the gold dust!
I used:
2 coats of Orly Nail Armor
3 coats of Deborah Lippmann Girls Just Want To Have Fun
2 coats of Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow
1 coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast
What do you think? I have to add, that I am quite shocked at this only took 1 coat of topcoat to be completely smooth to the touch. So the Boom Boom Pow must not be a hungry sharp glitter and Cult Nails Wicked Fast is certainly staying my favorite top coat!
You can get these and other Deborah Lippmann polishes at Apothica here! I can’t wait to show you my haul post soon!
