Day 4 of the Sparkle-thon! Nubar Violet Sparkle

In Nails, Nubar by Jacki10 Comments

Happy Hump Day! Today’s post marks the half way point of our Nubar Sparkle-thon. Are you guys enjoying it as much as I am? I’ve been having fun with this “theme” and I think I’ll do more themes in the future! It makes me try out polishes that I may not have tried right away.

Today’s sparkle is Violet Sparkle. I love this color! I don’t think I have another glitter to dupe this(there are a couple from this collection that are close to others, stay tuned after the sparkle-thon for a comparison post). It was a little hard to get the right color to show in the pictures. Most purples do that on camera making them lean more blurple. I had to adjust the warmness of these to make the purple seem more purple and not blue. On to the pictures!

I did 2 coats of the Violet Sparkle, 2 coats of Gelous, and 1 coat of Poshe again to try to cover the grittiness of this glitter.
So what do you think? Have a favorite yet from this half of the collection? Thanks for reading!

      Karina,

This was so long ago, but I believe it wasn't too bad. I usually use a scrub tub of acetone or the foil nail polish removal method for glitters so I'm sure that's all I did with this as well. 🙂
